I worked with other producers while working with them as well. I had a big custom DI for all of the keyboard stuff and most of that would have been tracked through the Focusrite as well. A lot of the later stuff was tracked with the Focusrite Red preamps and an M149 mic. K-2000, Roland JV-2080, I had a few Korg modules and a T3. I used a Roland S-770 sampler (still my favorite sounding sampler of all time). Pretty much anything EMU made (Planet Phatt, Proteus 2000, Orbit, Morpheus, Vintage Keys, Etc.).

Can you imagine all of those vocal track and quick punches on ADATS? It was hell. At that point, it was a combination of Otari MTR-90 II and the Studer A 80. I got to the point where I insisted (if I was the one making the tracks) that my tracks had to be cut to 2". They were also working a lot on ADAT back then. I think a lot of this record was done in LA too. Vocals (at least the ones I tracked) were Neve preamps with either a U 47 or an M 149. Some not.Īrt of War (as far as I can remember) was 2" 24 track.

#BONE THUGS N HARMONY EAST 1999 MIDI FULL#
I worked on Art of War (mostly tracking vocals), Mo Thugs Family Scriptures II (wrote and produced the tracks for "Heart of it All", Scant took credit for producing this one but he's full of crap, and "Mo' Thuggin" and also worked on "Ghetto Cowboy" and a few others), wrote and produced Krayzie Bone's single "Thug Mentality" and "That's the Way" off of his first solo album, and also wrote and produced "Carol of the Bones" (which they still use as an intro), Money On The Wood & "As The Rain" (Layzie) and a slew of other stuff. First off, thanks for the props on my studio. WOW what a nice studioI know this is an old thread but I just saw it.
